Armenian Computer Workshop for Adults |
The Glendale Public Library is happy to announce that, due to the demand of many non-English-speaking Armenians, it once again offers computer workshops in Armenian. The workshops, which are free to the public, are designed for beginners and held in the library's Learning Center computer room. Students learn the basics, such as: how to use computers, how to set up a free email account, and how to search on the Internet. Additionally, they learn how to use and search the Glendale Public Library's website. The workshops include a PowerPoint slide presentation in Armenian. Students receive a free booklet in Armenian, “Ի՞նչպէս գործածել համակարգիչը”, written by Elizabeth Grigorian especially for the workshops.
