How do I find videos and sound recordings? |
|
You can find videos and sound recordings (audiocassettes and books on CD) at most of the libraries in Glendale. Only the Brand Library has music CDs.
All videos and sound recordings are listed in the online catalog. You can search for them by author, title or subject.
When searching for a title in the catalog, add the word "videorecording" to the end of a video title, or "sound recording" for audiocassettes and CDs:
grapes of wrath videorecording
sound of music sound recording
You can find movie actors and music performers by name, using an author search in the catalog.
Use a word search to find videos and audiocassettes by subject.
Videos and sound recordings can be taken home, but they can't be kept as long as books. Ask at the checkout desk to find out how long you may keep them.
